For the first time in our history, we began the season with 3 competitive teams (CL / HL / SP), most of the riders being self trained. At the end of season the team can boast no less than 4440 points, 14 victories/35 results among which 2 jerseys and 3 trophies, and a special French jersey earned by Ruben Sabine as best French rider, which feels special for us. It is funny to notice that at season end each of these 3 teams has scored exactly one third of the total points !
Having stopped racing on mid S65 after being hit by too many injuries, including captains in TF, we dropped to div2 and could register for Porto, where we signed up the SP team lead by Enea Lombardi, which had limited success, mainly due to Morgovejo being around ….
Refraining from scoring in the next days enabled us to sign up at the last available spot in Norway Tour and we would then sign up the CL team led by Ruben Sabine. The Tour was a complete success, our captain snatching all 3 CL stages and the overall GC.
Meanwhile, Emanuel Claassen (former world champion and now winner of 7 jerseys/trophies for our team) did trigger his TF to race and win Tour of Hawaii and the GC at Perm Tour (by a slim 5’’ margin).
This brought us back in div2 where our main targets were Lappi Sea GP, Grasse-Toulon , and Vuelta a Valparaiso. On the first Classic, a BA prevented Levi Van Espen from victory, while Dragóner Dénes proved his worth by winning the French Classic. At Valparaiso, Jakob Van Bombergen was way too weak to hope for anything at YC, and Ruben Sabine just snatched a top9.
It was time to sign up to div1 cups, tours and Classics, and there the team could not perform well : odffdays on all stages prevented Dragóner Dénes from scoring any points at Copa Salsa de Cali ; Clotaire Jeanson finished 9th at Helsinki and 9th at Germany Tour SC …
But on the contrary, all 3 teams scored regularly on regular one day races in div1 throughout the end of season, scoring 1700 points in the last third of S66.
Now we aim at reaching top position on the ranking, even for a short period of time, as we will lose very few points during the first third of season. Let’s see where this will lead us !
It will then be time around mid season to recharge the whole team and target a heavy S68 !

Thanks !
Yep, ofc it was not intended but rather funny in the end that all 3 teams scored equally !
I was lucky with my HL trainees, all maxing nicely, while I had a hard time training CL trainees with lots of very low maxes.
Did the three teams really break down the points that evenly!!? wow
I was a bit sceptical when you started your homegrown-riders-fettish, but it pays of well. Great season, hope you will enjoy your time in top division now !
